A good friend of mine has showed me this song pretty recently and i gotta agree that it’s definitely nothing short of amazing. I love jazz and i love hip-hop. Once you take those genres and fuse them together, ooohh mann, my predilection is on a whole nother level.

I’m a chill/mellow kinda guy that fiends for chill/mellow music; go figure.

*Btw, if you’re a huge fan of Nujabes (R.I.P.), i recommend you check Sinitus Tempo out. It’s all about the good vibes~~

The Speed of Sound in Seawater - Delmar Fisheries

I’m not really sure if you guys are into math-rock/math-pop as much as i am into it, but i thought this was worth sharing anyways. To the average listener, you might think this sounds a bit “different” but i like it. As pretentious as the genre might sound and how unappealing the music might be at first listen, this is one of those genres that actually grow onto you over time. For those who need a definition of math-rock, google is your friend haha.

I’m only sharing because math-rock/math-pop is such a super indie genre that almost nobody knows about or has even heard of. Hopefully more people will start getting into it cause i need more people to go to shows with!

Besides, TSOSIS is one of my favorite bands. Check out the rest of their stuff IF you’re actually interested.

One of the best commercials i’ve seen so far. Even though this is all in japanese, the video pretty much speaks for itself, therefore you don’t really need any subtitles (if you really want subtitles, activate closed captions on the player). I’m not going to lie, this was pretty moving. Props to subaru for being too classy.

I wish america would show commercials that have such deep meaning as these. Now hurry up and start selling br-z over here! I can’t wait to get my hands on this car someday..

Infographic of the Day: According to ProPublica, which is tracking opposition to and support for SOPA and PIPA among members of Congress, yesterday’s blackout managed to persuade many politicians to come out against the Internet killing bills.

As hope-affirming as that is, it’s important to note that support for PIPA remains strong in the Senate, where those in favor of the bill outnumber those opposed by almost 2 to 1.

As mentioned yesterday, another interesting oft-ignored fact is that there is far more support for both bills among Democrats than Republicans. In the Senate, over two-thirds of all supporters are Democrats.

The blackout made a difference, but PIPA could still pass, and a procedural test vote is expected next week. Appreciate the accomplishment, but don’t mistake regrouping for retreat.

Take action.
